Janet Keller Richards wrote and performed her first comedy sketch at age ten for a school assembly. Writing came naturally to her, and for several decades she honed her craft within the world of theater, creating original sketches, plays, and musicals for teenagers and adults.
For several years, she also acted professionally at Sight and Sound Theatres. Being on the stage was one of the more fun jobs she's had, because there's always something new happening in a live production. She often found herself dodging unexpected animal deposits or covering for a late entry or stifling a laugh because of an unplanned mishap. Stage work is never dull!
But writing is where Janet found her true self. Her first nonfiction book, Unlocking Our Inheritance, came about as a result of a conversation with God during a week-long retreat. After her second nonfiction book, From Addiction To Adoption, her writing expanded, and she was soon ghostwriting and editing books for others, as well as working as an online writer and editor of digital content.

Janet and her husband Rusty currently live in the great state of Texas, where armadillos dig holes whenever they please, fire ants sting when they get mad, and cedar trees think it's funny to make people sneeze.
Since then, she's written a collection of fun and heartwarming short stories, full of adventure and mystery. She's compiled them into a downloadable e-book. Check out Into The Middle, her short story collection, HERE!
